A curious spirit for a polyglot and epicurean woman

As a lover of nature and arts, I have spent much of my time exploring the secret places of the Bordeaux region, walking on the trails, and the most important thing of all, meeting the people here.

These authentic moments of sharing and mindfulness have enriched my life as they allow me to keep learning about other people and also about myself. That’s why I wanted to create Bordeaux Discoveries, so I could make you also benefit from these special experiences!

Today, I would like to first satisfy your curiosity by offering you original and mindful ‘Immersive Experiences’ with our local partners.

Have a look behind the scenes of their estates and workshops that enable you to better understand their techniques and know-how.

Are you more into a historic castle visit, a bike ride to the Cap Ferret or a wine blending workshop? It is also possible to combine different activities while you are staying with us … everything is possible!

So, curious to see what is going on behind the scenes?

Do not hesitate…!

I am a licensed guide, member of the AGNA regional guides association.

Once graduated from Sciences Po Paris and University of Vienna, Austria, I have worked abroad for several years on urban planning and development issues related to tourism. Back in Bordeaux, I finally fulfilled my dream of becoming a licensed guide, while undertaking more specific training, such as the WSET wine tasting training (level 2).

Wine Lovers, Gourmets & Epicureans

Very well acquainted with the science of wine and the region’s natural eco-system, I want to connect the actors who make up the riches of our Territory (wine tourism, pesca-tourism, local crafts) and travelers who are naturally curious!

Visitors' reviews

We had the chance to go on a very interesting daytrip to the Médoc castles, of course enjoying the best wine tastings, butg also with a hint of history, which was for me the best. Our guide Diane  could very well explain the role of the impressive “Vauban fortress” on the Gironde Estuary.

The tailor-made daytrip offers many possibilities and I would highy recommend it for an original approach of to the Bordeaux wine region!

I went for the City Center guided tour with my husband and two children : they  loved the fact that Diane could comment on the ancient monuments through VIrtual Reality Images with her 3D-Headset !

This experience really makes the difference when it comes to understanding how Bordeaux has evolved along the centuries… If I come back and there are new images to be seen, I would go again on the tour, which is joyful and immersive!

My trip to Bordeaux was one of my best memories in Europe. Diane accompanied me during 3 full days, and I loved the fact that she took me to the iconic monuments as well as to the little secrete places of the city! I will never forget the moment, standing on the top of the Dune du Pilat, while a vintage airplane flying past, quite a timeless moment! Diane offered a unique insight about the city and surrounding areas, and I really appreciated her enthusiasm and great knowledge.
