Purpose of data processing:

Bordeaux Discoveries is the concept brand of Diane ROUSSEL, licensed guide registered as a self-entrepreneur under SIRET n ° 883 772 113 00014.

This website has a general contact form and another form in the section „tailor-made visits“. Their common goal is to respond to customers wishing to obtain information, to establish a quote or to know the availability of the guide’s calendar for a visit time. The data collected on this occasion is recorded and processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations in force (GDPR) and the customer’s consent: these elements form the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy applied to the Website does not apply to information collected by any third party or through sites managed by them; including via applications or content (such as advertisements) redirecting the user to the website www.bordeaux-discoveries.com.

When is the client’s consent requested?

On www.bordeaux-discoveries.com website, there are 2 types of data that may be collected:

  • Data transmitted directly

These data are those that the customer transmits to us directly, either via one of the website’s contact forms (through a „checkbox“ and where the consent is free, clear and unequivocal) or by direct contact via e-mail. When the customer will get to the confirmation step for the desired visit, thanks to e-mail exchanges, he will be asked to fill in various fields, specified in the section „categories of data“.

The customer thus authorizes us to collect and process the data which are necessary for the execution of a guided tour contract, or necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at his request (establishment of a detailed visit program before confirmation of reservation corresponding to the payment of a 50% deposit), in accordance with the Terms of sale and the GDPR.

  • Data collected automatically

When consulting the website, once the customer’s consent has been given through the „accept“ box, we can collect „web analytics“ type information relating to the navigation, the duration of consultation, the IP address, and the type and version of browser used by the client. The technology used is the “cookie”. These tracers make it possible to analyze the traffic and data generated by the website, in order to measure its number of users, and to facilitate its subsequent use by making it more suited to customer expectations.
